Hello !
CityCorp is a mobile game prototype, which I worked on for two months, in September 2021, as a UI / UX artist.
I had the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone, and work on the creation of a studio, at the school Brassart Lyon.
At Myriac Studio, I worked with two Game Designers : Raphaël Maréchal and Michel Picq. And four Game Artists : Marion Vienat, Matthieu Martin, Arthur Pouce and Camille Cuby.
We decided to create a mobile game prototype that allows users to learn more about our city of Lyon, especially its culture, heritage and history, through puzzles with an interactive map.
The game is shaped as a tool for the users, called the Citydex. With the help of a fun robot named Nauty, users can participate in special events and discover new facts and stories while playing CityCorp.
I mainly worked on the "shop" menu, and helped my colleagues on the artistic direction of the project.
This project was a challenge for me, I don't usually work on tiny icons, even less frequently on user experience logics.
I don't play mobile games at all, so I did a lot of research to understand better the logic behind mobile UI.
This experience helped me a lot to work on new aspects of a game.
I'm sure it could be better thought out in terms of ergonomics, but it was a first try. Now I know how it could be better next time!
On the whole, it was a total discovery for me! Well ... almost, at least I worked on Photoshop. :)
Thanks for watching.
